Hi, I’m Ivanka, founder of Designer Workflow and the person interior designers call when they’re ready to get out of the weeds and back into their creative flow.
Think: proposals drafted, orders tracked, inventory organized, financials sorted, all without the commitment of hiring a full-time employee. It’s like having a project manager, expeditor, bookkeeper, and business bestie all rolled into one.
How I Got Here
Before launching my own business, I spent over a decade in the design world working alongside designers and project managers, and most recently as operations lead at a high-end design studio and retail showroom. Along the way, I realized something: busy designers often get buried in the behind-the-scenes details that make or break a project. And that’s exactly where I come in.
I know how design businesses work from the inside out; not just the creative side, but the logistics, timelines, and day-to-day tasks that keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. With a background in both design and construction (thanks, Dad!), a degree from FIDM Los Angeles, and over 10 years of experience, I bring both industry know-how and practical systems to the table.
That’s what led me to launch Designer Workflow: a way to help talented designers do more of what they love, and less of what they don’t.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I’m detail-obsessed, logistics-loving, solutions-oriented, and here to make your business feel as buttoned-up as your best installation day. I bring systems, structure, and a whole lot of order to the chaos, kind of like your right hand, but with a dashboard and a spreadsheet. I anticipate needs, solve problems before they become issues, and keep your projects (and clients) moving forward with a calm confidence, a kind spirit, a sense of humor and a good coffee always close by.
I work remotely with interior designers across the country, offering support tailored to the way you work and how much help you need. Whether you’re just looking for some basic housekeeping and maintenance here and there to help you feel more caught up and organized, or if you need more hands-on support to get you through each day, I’ve got you.
